Specialty Courses
While we think all our training is special, we offer some courses that are a hybrid of sorts. We offer barrier problem solving, 'Combat' camps, Team tactics (spouse), enhanced safety, junior courses, metallic reloading, and kydex.
Barrier Series
Our most popular classes is our barrier problem solving classes.
We have 3 of them:
Home: we set up stub walls (2'x2') and have students shoot various calibers and projectiles though them. We usually have 2 external walls then 3-4 interior walls and finally another exterior style constructed stub. This is very educational and an eye opener for people. I usually have an appliance the can shoot to show them that most things in Your home do not stop bullets.
Misc: this class follows the basic concept as the home but usually entails body armor (I have several police departments donate expired or defective vests). This class usually has more law enforcement officers taking this class (they want to see if their vests would work with various calibers)
Vehicle: by far the most popular! We teach to shoot around the vehicle, under, and from the inside (very safe and controlled environment; goggles, n95 masks), and finally we shoot the vehicle from s safe distance and work our way up from a .22 (shooting each quarter panel 1 time and then inspecting each impact point). We drain all liquids prior and place the vehicle on a 60'x60' piece of landscaping felt to ensure all glass/debri is easily policed.
Combat Camp

Introduced to our line up in 2014, this camp will now be an annual event. Each year we will have a different focus, but will always have self-defense (Krav Maga), lots of shooting, and other life saving topics (Medical, home security, disaster preparation, etc).

H.I.T.T
High Intensity Team Training
​
Training with your spouse/partner is absolutely VITAL, don’t try to learn new skills during a critical incident!
- Home security
- Disaster Preparation (bugging in and/or out)
- Interior/Exterior movement (moving as a team)
- Shooting in low light
- Gear set up & selection (as a team)
- Team Duties (Planning)
- Communicating as a fire team
This course can be taught in a classroom environment.
Enhanced Safety Course
​
Our ESC is a course that is taught with a virtual range. By utilizing laser and a state of the art program we are able to teach many defensive subjects in a very controlled environment.
Topics include:
- Basic firearm safety
- Shooting fundamentals
- Loading and unloading all 8 major action groups
- Malfunction clearing
- Basic marksmanship
- Stress induced drills (competition style and decision drills)
- Shoot/no shoot video targets
- 4 count presentation from a holster
- Tactical and emergency reloads
- Students wear a vest that registers 'hits' when shot at!
This course can be taught just about anywhere! We have had several businesses request this course for their employees.
Reloading
​
Our reloading course is for ICD members only. Students will learn how to set up and operate a Dillon RL-550B.
Upon completion of the course, the ICD member can purchase a machine at cost!
Kydex
​
Our Kydex course is designed to teach a person how to make their own holster. Price is $150 per person, with a class size of 6 maximum.
We have had several students make their own home based business after a couple of our courses!
