Carbine 1
Our carbine class is copied by many other instructors.

Our Carbine 1 covers basic manipulation of 'standard' Carbines and discussion/of a combat zero:
- AR-15
- AK Series
- Steyr AUG/MSAR STG-556
- FAL
- HK Series (91, 93, and 940
- Mini-14
- M1A
- Tavor SAR-21
- SKS
- Sig 5.56
- Sig 551
- AR10


Carbine level 2
The SDE’s Practical carbine is for students who take their self-defense very seriously and wish to continue their education on firearms.

Students will learn the following subjects:
-Concealment vs. cover
-Concealment options
-4 count presentation of a handgun
-Immediate action drills (how to clear a malfunctioned firearm)
-Rapid reload (tactical and static)
-Sustained fire drills
-Movement with a firearm
-Aftermath of a shooting
-Shooting out to 200 yards

In the range, students will draw from concealment to engage targets. This realism based training may save your life or a loved one! This is the same course SDE has taught to Military and Law Enforcement personel.
Prerequisite: Basic Handgun or carbine 1

Carbine level 3
The SDE’s defensive Carbine is for students who take their self-defense very seriously and wish to continue their education on firearms.

Students will learn the following subjects:
- Shooting on the move
- Shooting from the seated position
- Single hand manipulation (Drawing and malfunction clearing)
- Shooting from uncommon positions (Supline, Urban Prone, Etc.)
Prerequisite: NWSDE Carbine Level 2
Carbine level 4
We continue the progression from Level 3. With the addition of:
- Communication as a team
- Moving targets
- Movement as a team
- CQB (Close Quarters Battle)
- Introduction to low light
Prerequisite: NWSDE Level 3 Carbine

Handgun level 5
Advanced tactics, by invitation only.
